The Saskatchewan RCMP National Security Enforcement section arrested the woman in Saskatoon on Oct. 18 after investigating further, the statement said.

Marly Dansereau, 25, is charged with one count of uttering threats and is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Nov. 23.

In a video clip posted by former radio personality Dean Blundell on the social media app X (formerly Twitter), a woman in a livestreamed video chat with several other people asked the other participants to guess who was in La Ronge “last weekend.”

“F*** face was,” she said. As another participant began to speak, she continued: “I was literally hours away from him and if I f***ing could get off work and go kill the motherf***er, I f***ing would. He was f***ing hours away.”

During the subsequent chatter, one man said he had some “gas money,” and the woman said, “Hey, if someone’s willing to pay my hourly wage so I can skip work and go and do that, f*** I would. I’d do us all a favour.”
