Snow is set to hit the ground in Calgary today, and you’ll need some hardy mittens handy later this week, with some wickedly cold temperatures on the way.

A cold snap is about to hug YYC, with The Weather Network even forecasting temperatures feeling like -20°C for some of Saturday morning.

Although flurries are in the forecast for today, the rest of the week is shaping up to be much less snowy.
