Sask. government's 'Parents' Bill of Rights' becomes law
The third and final reading of Saskatchewan's "Parent's Bill of Rights" passed Friday morning, a bill requiring parental consent if a youth under the age of 16 wants to be referred by a different pronoun or name at school. Indian police have arrested the editor and administrator of a news website and one of its administrators in connection to raids on homes of journalists working for the site. The site has been critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Hindu nationalist-led government. The arrests come as part of the Indian government's 'Parents' Bill of Rights'.
